Privacy Wiki

See which privacy tools are recommended by which sources — all in one place.

Privacy Wiki is a meta-aggregator that compares privacy tool recommendations across multiple trusted sources. Rather than being a primary recommendation engine, it brings together the guidance from seven trusted sources:

  • Privacy Guides — Community-driven, expert-reviewed privacy recommendations
  • Awesome Privacy — A curated list of privacy-respecting services and software
  • KYCNOT.me — Find services that don’t require KYC verification
  • XMR Club — Monero-accepting merchants and services
  • Privacy Pack — Privacy tool recommendations
  • Monerica — Monero and privacy resources

This allows you to quickly see which tools are recommended by which sources, identify consensus picks, and make more informed decisions about your privacy stack.

Each category contains comparison tables showing tool recommendations across all seven sources. The legend is simple:

  • = Recommended
  • partial = Partial or conditional recommendation
  • = Not recommended
  • (empty) = Not reviewed by that source

Privacy Wiki does not make its own recommendations. It aggregates and compares what others recommend. Always check the original sources for detailed reasoning, threat models, and caveats behind each recommendation.

This project is open source and community-maintained. Contributions, corrections, and updates are welcome. If a source updates their recommendations, help us keep the tables current.
